Wishes for the Sky
On Sunday we went to the Wishes for the Sky event on Harriet Island across the river from downtown St.Paul. The event focused on peace with the Earth. We saw (and participated in) artistic pieces including an interactive sculpure (video above) and sound collage. We also flew special dedicated kites, sending our wishes of peace up into the sky. I think my wife summed it up well by saying that everyone there is so hopeful. It was a really great event and I will certainly be attending next year.
